Niko is misunderstood by everyone from her school. This is because Niko has isolated herself and even wears the same tattered clothes for years. She has an ability to see abandoned imaginary creatures that people have forgotten or moved on. She takes care of these imaginary creatures by sewing them back into shape. She usually is seen with her companion, Fuu. Fuu is always losing his one eye, which Niko always has to sew back to his head.
